Who is Denis O'Donovan?

Party: Fianna Fáil

Constituency: Cork South-West

Denis O’Donovan (born 1955) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He is currently a member of the 23rd Seanad Éireann. He was first elected to the Seanad in 1992 and again in 1997. O’Donovan was first elected to Dáil Éireann in the 2002 general election for the constituency of Cork South West. He lost his Dáil seat in the 2007 general election, however he was subsequently elected to the Seanad by the Industrial and Commercial Panel. O’Donovan was the Chairman of the all-party Oireachtas Committee on the Constitution, established in December 2002 to review the Constitution
